Antique Victorian Tiger's Eye Brooch Pendant Gold Washed Sterling Silver

This antique brooch/pendant features a domed oval tiger's eye cabochon set in gold-washed acid-tested sterling silver. The ornate openwork design is accented with twisted wirework, bead detailing, and imitation pearl accents surrounding the center stone. A pendant bail and early locking safety clasp allow the piece to be worn as either a brooch or pendant. Dating to approximately 1890–1915, it exemplifies late Victorian to Edwardian craftsmanship with intricate hand-finished silverwork.

Condition is very good antique condition with expected wear to the gold wash and light surface wear consistent with age. The tiger's eye displays excellent chatoyancy with a strong moving golden band. The brooch retains its original early locking safety clasp, which is marked "A2." One imitation pearl shows minor wear to the nacre, exposing the underlying material, as shown in the photographs. Any notable wear, repairs, replacements, or imperfections are described and photographed for accuracy.
