Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Sodalite Pendant Necklace Attributed Arnold Goodluck

This large sterling silver pendant features a substantial oval sodalite cabochon with deep blue and naturally mottled coloration, set within a hand-fabricated shield-shaped setting accented with applied silver wirework, beads, and a prominent spiral motif. The pendant is signed “AG” and marked “Sterling.” The AG hallmark is consistent with the documented mark of Navajo silversmith Arnold Goodluck, and this piece is attributed to Goodluck based on the hallmark and style; the attribution has not been independently authenticated. It dates to approximately the late 20th century and exemplifies Southwestern artisan silverwork.

Condition is good vintage condition with surface wear, scratches, oxidation, and patina consistent with age and use. The sodalite remains securely set and displays natural variations in color and pattern. The pendant is paired with a 22-inch Italian sterling silver snake chain with a spring-ring clasp.
