Vintage Sterling Carnelian Turquoise Chalcedony Geometric Drop Earrings

This pair of vintage drop earrings features a bold combination of sterling silver, carnelian, turquoise, hematite and yellow chalcedony. Large translucent red-orange carnelian components are cut into geometric octagonal forms with circular centers framing polished yellow chalcedony beads. Small turquoise beads and cylindrical hematite accents complete the design, suspended from long sterling silver ear wires. They date to approximately the 1980s–1990s and exemplify the colorful geometric statement jewelry of the period.

Condition is good vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age and use. One carnelian component has a visible crack running alongside the wire channel, as shown in the photographs. The crack is currently stable and the component remains securely assembled. Natural variation is present within the stone beads. Any notable wear, repairs, replacements, or imperfections are described and photographed for accuracy.
