Vintage Mexican Sterling Silver Openwork Dome and Scroll Brooch AHCL 925

This vintage Mexican sterling silver brooch features a bold circular openwork design composed of scrolling wirework, applied silver beads, and three highly polished hollow domes framed with twisted-rope borders. The balanced, symmetrical composition has a sculptural quality while remaining surprisingly lightweight for its substantial size. It dates to approximately the mid-20th century and exemplifies traditional Mexican silverwork with a modernist folk-art influence.

Condition is very good vintage condition with light surface wear, fine scratches, and areas of natural patina consistent with age and use. The hollow domes retain a bright reflective finish. Please review the photographs closely for the condition of the pin mechanism and all soldered elements.
